ULSAT 2019

The University of Petroleum and Energy studies is conducting the ULSAT 2019 exam. ULSAT 2019 is conducted in a two-day window. Students have to appear for the pen and paper-based exam as well as the computer-based exam. The exam is conducted for the entrance to the 5 years BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.com LLB. Students who want to appear for any of these courses can apply to the same form. Students who will properly submit the application form and pay the application fee will get the admit card. Students are informed that UPES also gives admissions to the students on the basis of CLAT merit, LSAT merit or 12th class merit. Before applying for the ULSAT 2019 application form, the students must make sure that they check the eligibility criteria as laid down by the UPES. Students should also note down the below dates for reference. These dates are as according to the last year’s schedule. However, the students can check out the same since the dates are expected to remain the same for this year also.

ULSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form the students must make sure that they match the eligibility criteria below. The students found ineligible at any stage will not be allowed to give the ULSAT exam.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate LLB

  • Students must have scored at least 50% marks in the 10+2 exam. Non LSAT Admission
  • Students can also get admission to various LLB and LLM courses through the NON-ULSAT admission process. Students can take admissions on the basis of the following 3 criteria

Admission through 12th board Merit

  • Students who will have a score of 85% marks in the 10th and 12th exams considering the best of 5 subjects are exempted from giving the ULSAT exam. Students must note that they need to have English as the main subject in the best of 5 subjects.
  • Admission through CLAT merit/ LSAT merit: Students who want to take admission through the LSAT  score must have at least 50% marks in the 10+2 and 60% marks in LSAT exam.
  • Students who want admission on the basis of CLAT should have at least 50% marks in the 10+2 and CLAT rank up to 10000.

Admissions through LSAT score – Students who want to take admission on the basis of LSAT score must have at least 60% marks.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate LLM

  • Students who want to study LLM courses must have at least 50% marks in the 10+2 exam.
  • Students must also have scored at least 50% in the LLB exam.

How to apply for ULSAT 2019

Students who want to take admission in any of the UG and PG courses can follow the below instructions to submit their applications.

step 1 – Visit the official website of UPES, i.e upes.ac.in.

Step 2 – Once on the official website, the students will have to complete the registration. In the registration form, the students will have to provide the information such as the Name, email Adress, mobile number, state, city, course etc.

Step 3 – After filling the above details, the students must carefully read the terms and conditions after and accept the same to proceed.

Step 4 – The website will send a one time OTP to the given mobile number by the candidates. Students will be required to enter the same to get access to the application form.

Step 5 – Now the students will have to fill the details in the application form. Details such as the Academic details, application form details, and the payment details.

Step 5 – After filling the necessary details in the application for the students will have to submit the application fee as given below. It must be noted that the application fee is as per the last year. However, i is expected to remain the same for this year also.

ULSAT 2019 Application Fee – The ULSAT 2019 Application fee can be paid using both online and offline modes.

fee through online mode – Students will have to pay Rs 1850/- as the application fee using the Debit/Credit card.

Fee payment through cash – Rs 1750/-

Step 6 – After filling the form and paying the application fee, the students will be able to submit their application form. Once done, students must wait for the admit card.

ULSAT 2019 Syllabus

ULSAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The ULSAT 2019 exam will be of 3 hours. Students will be asked objective type questions in the ULSAT 2019 exam. There will be 5 sections in the ULSAT 2019 exam. Each section will contain 30 multiple choice questions. A total of 150 questions will be asked in the ULSAT 2019 exam. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. Students should know that there is no negative marking for the ULSAT 2019 exam.
