Eligibility Criteria for UG Programs
- The studnets have to pass the HSC exam in the first attempt. Candidates of all the categories except for the SC and ST categories have to score at least 50% marks. SC, ST Canfidates have to score at least 45% marks.
- Students have to be less than or equal to 20 years in age.
- SC/ST candidates can take admission up to 22 years of age.
Eligibility Criteria for PG Programs

National Law School of India University, Bangalore – Placements
At NLSIU, the students have to submit an application form on or before August 15. The form is submitted to the placement officer. After the students’ proposal is accepted, the students are informed about undertaking of the project. While the student is in 1st and 2nd year, the placement is optional and will be with NGO’s. In the 3rd year the placement is with trial lawyers, in the 4th year with appellate lawyers and when the student reaches the final year, his placement is with law firms.
All the students are given the assignment work in January and the Rules, regulations are informed. After the students return in March, a viva voce is conducted to evaluate the work done by the students.
