Test Scores

LSAC India reports scores on a percentile basis. Percentile scores are arrived at by comparing each performance of each candidate to that of the others within his or her candidate group (Five-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme or LL.M./ LL.B. Programme).

One cannot compare scores for one candidate group to those for the other candidate group since they are based on group performance. For instance, if you are an undergraduate candidate who has earned an LSAT India score of 82.5 has in fact performed better on the test than 82.5 percent of the total undergraduate candidate pool. However, you cannot say that this score would mean anything with regards to post-undergraduate candidate pool. Again, this score does not mean that you have answered same percentage of answers correctly in exam.
