AIL LET 2018 Application Form has been released by the Army Institute of Law (AIL). The Law Entrance Test (LET 2018) will be held for the wards of Army and All India Civil Categories. Through entrance examination candidates will get admission in the B.A LL.B (Five Year Course) and LL.M (One Year Course). The Law Entrance Test will be conducted on July 01, 2018. Only the eligible candidates will be able to apply for the AIL LET 2018.
LET 2018 Application Form
To apply for the AIL Law Entrance Test 2018, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as decided by the concerned authority. The eligibility is different for all the categories, however, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with minimum 45% aggregate marks from a recognized school for the BA. LLB course. For the LLM Course candidate must have completed the BA LLB (5 years) or LLB (3 years) with minimum 55% aggregate marks from the recognized University. The AIL LET will be conducted only for the Wards of Army Personnel and for the All India Civil categories. The Army Institute of Law also give admission to the Punjab Resident Civil Category to the BA LLB and LLM courses in the institution. But, candidate belonging to this category does not have to appear for the entrance examination. They get admission on the basis of the merit of class 12th for BA LLB and merit of LLB for the admission in the LLM course. The application procedure for all the categories is same. Interested candidates must fill the application form and should fill the prescribed application fee that is mentioned below:
Application Fee for Army and All India Civil categories is Rs. 3000/- and the late fee for the examination Rs. 1000/-
How to Apply for AIL LET 2018
Before applying for the AIL LET 2018 candidates must read the eligibility criteria for the same given on the official website of the Army Institute of Law at ail.ac.in The Application form for the examination will only be filled through online mode. The application form filling process comprise of 3-4 steps which has to followed by the candidate. The procedure to apply for the LET 2018B are as follows:
Step I- Registration- Firstly candidates need to visit the official website of the concerned authority at ail.ac.in Click on the “Online Registration” in the Admission link of AIL LET 2018. Candidate need to fill the basic information such as name, Date of Birth, Father’s name, Email ID, Password. After filling all the details, a registration number and password will be generated in the system which will be sent to the email ID provided by the candidate.
Step II- Fee Payment – After the generation of the application number and password, the candidate must submit the application fee. The fee can be paid by two ways one from State Bank collect and another by IndusInd Bank. Here applicant should enter the application and password to proceed with payment. There will be two choices either click on the State Bank collect or Pay using IndusInd Bank on fee payment tab.
- For the state bank collect, the candidate needs to click on the link and accept its terms and conditions. After that select the category and pay the prescribed fee through Debit/ Credit Card or by net banking. Candidate must printout of the confirmation and should retain it till admission.
- To pay using IndusInd Bank candidate should click on the IndusInd Bank and click on the pay now section. The candidate will be directed to the payment gateway website. After that choose the payment mode and pay the required fee through Debit/ Credit Card or by net banking. Check the payment status and take a printout.
Step III- Fill the Application Form- After the completion of the above two steps candidate must fill the application form with the necessary details. Candidate must go the official website again and enter the registration number and password that was generated at the time of registration to fill the application form. The documents needed to be upload at the time of filing the application form are as follows;
- Scanned passport size Photograph less than 120kb
- Scanned Signature less than 100kb
- 10th class passing certificate with less than 1.5mb
- Army category certificate with size less than 1.5mb in case of Army category student
Note- The application form will only be considered as submitted when the following message will appear on the screen as “Your Form has been successfully Submitted”
