IPU CET Law 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The IPU CET Law 2019 eligibility criteria is explained to the students below. It is important that the candidate fulfil the admission requirements if they want to take admission in GGSIPU and its iffiliated colleges. Check below the eligibility criteria for LLB and LLM admissions.
Eligibility criteria for LLB
- Students should have 10+2 Education Qualification
- Students must have at least 45% marks in the qualifying exams.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for now. However, the decision to prescribe an age limit for the LLB course will be of the Hon’ble courts before the commencement of the examinations.
Eligibility Criteria for LLM
Bachelor’s of Law Degree: Students should have completed the LLB degree from a reputed university.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates will be admitted on the basis of the Non-CET mode. Students need to have 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Interview: Next we have a personal interview. As a part of the eligibility criteria, 30% weightage is given to the interview.
Year wise professional experience: 20% weightage is given to the experience gained by the candidate in profession or service. The candidates interview will be constituted by the dean, University school of law and legal studies.
Final Merit List: The final merit list of the candidates will be declared on the official website of GGSIPU.

- Left thumb impression of the candidate.
How to Apply for IPU CET Law 2019 Application Form

Step 1 – Online Registration – Click on the Direct link provided on this page to register
Students who want to apply can click on the direct link that is available soon on this page. Upon clicking the students would be sent to the official page of IPU CET Law 2019 for registrations.
Upon clicking on the link you will see that a new window will get open and from there you will be able to select the course you want to apply for. Check out the image below to understand better.
Upload images and signatures
Students will now have to upload their photographs, signatures and thumb impression. To upload the same, students will have to click on the link that says “upload photograph, signature and thumb impression” Check out the image below to understand better.
Upon Clicking on the above link, the students will land on a new window that will have 3 tabs namely –
- Photograph – Use this tab to upload the photograph for your application form
- Signatures – In a similar way, use this tab to upload your scanned signatures
- Left-hand Thumb impression – Use this tab to upload your left-hand thumb impression.

Once the students upload the required documents and they fill all the details in the new window, they will get their Login ID and password to log in and continue the application process.
Step 2 Login and fill the application form
In this step, the students will have to fill the personal as well as professional details in the application form. Students must make sure that they fill the right details in their application form as later they also have to submit the required documents that justify the application form.
Step 3 – Payment of Application Fee
Students will be able to make the payment for IPU CET in both online as well as offline mode
The application fee for IPU CET Law 2019 – Rs 1000/-
Students can pay the application fee using any mean of Payment. You can choose to pay the application fee using
Online mode – Debit Card/Credit Card/ Net Banking.
Offline Mode – Students will be able to pay the application fee in offline mode using bank challan and demand draft. Students can also pay the application fee at the designated centres for fee payment.
Step 4 – Take a Printout of the IPU CET 2019 Application Form.
Next, the Students will have to click on submit and print the application form. Students might be asked for the captcha code to proceed.
