The Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is conducted for admissions in various courses offered by the university. For Law, both in bachelors level and Masters Level, the admissions are also made via the common entrance test called the IPU CET Law. IPU CET Law 2018 will be conducted for the candidates who are willing to study Law in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, will have to apply online for the examination and qualify the same to get a chance to pursue Law in their higher studies.

The candidates will have to appear for the tests as per the scheduled time and date. All the process of the admission will be held online. The counselling will be also done online, the will just have to appear physically for the document verification process.

IPU CET Law 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Before you start with the online application form, make sure you know whether or not you are eligible to fill the form. The IPU CET Law 2018 eligibility criteria for LLB and LLM course is given below:
Eligibility Criteria to apply for LLM Course:
LLB Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a Foreign University, with not less than 50% marks.
Eligibility Criteria to apply for LLB Course:
Pass in 12th class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.
No Age Limit is specified for Law Admissions, but is subjected to notification of Bar Council of India or the Hon’ble Court(s) before the commencement of Conselling/Admissions.
IPU CET Law 2018 Application Form
The IPU CET Law 2018 Application Form has to be filled and submitted in the online mode only. Here are the steps that are to be followed to complete the application process:

- Login and fill other details of IPU CET Law 2018 Application Form
- Pay the application fee
- Take a printout of the application form.

IPU CET Law 2018 Admit Card
The IPU CET Law 2018 Admit Card will be made available 5 days before the scheduled examination date. It will available for download for the candidates who will submit their application form before the deadline and without any error. The candidates need to log in and access the admit card.
Candidates will have to carry two copies of the admit card in the examination centre. One copy will be retained by the invigilator. Both copies must carry the candidate’s passport size photo pasted on them. the picture should be as same as the one uploaded during the online application process.

IPU CET Law 2018 Answer Key
After the conduct of IPU CET Law 2018, the conducting body will release the answer key for all the course separately. Thus using the answer key of IPU CET Law 2018, candidates will be able to get the idea of their estimated score prior to the declaration of the result. A provisional answer key will be released in the initial days. If there are any mistakes or challenges reported against the answer key, a final and updated answer key will be uploaded soon after.
Using the IPU CET Law 2018 answer key, candidates will be able to crosscheck their answers and know their estimated score and plan their counselling choices accordingly. The official marking scheme is to be used to calculate the scores.
IPU CET Law 2018 Result
The IPU CET 2018 Result will be published on the official website, www.ipu.ac.in. candidates who have appeared in the examination can check their scores and download it for counselling rounds. The result will have to be accessed by logging into the respective registered accounts. The result will include candidate’s name, roll number, category, rank or qualifying status etc. The rank of candidates who do not qualify in CET 2018 will not be declared.
After declaring the IPU CET Law Result 2018 and the availability of seats the university will prepare the cut-off and merit list for undergraduate admissions, i.e the cutoff and merit list will be available for the LLB course. No hardcopy will be sent to the candidates and thus one must download the result from the official website as per schedule.
IPU CET Law 2018 Counselling Process
The IPU CET Law 2018 Counselling will be conducted in online mode opnly, the canidates need to submit the counselling fees and other requisite fee amount via online mode only. One has to be physically present only for the Document verification Process. Counselling will be done only for the LLB (CET Code 121) course and not for the LLM course.
The detailed instructions about the online counselling, User Manual, FAQs shall be available on the University website www.ipu.ac.in & www.ipuadmissions.nic.in. after the declaration of the IPU CET Law 2018 Result. The candidates will be called for counselling/admission depending upon the number of seats available in each programme. The admissions will be made only out of these qualified and eligible candidates strictly in order of merit.
Candidates will have to register first, pay the couselling fees, fill the choice, practise their choice of allottment (Freezing or upgradation), pay the confirmation fee, download provisional admission slip and appear for document verification.
