🚨HPNLU Joined CLAT 2019, Not going to conduct HPNLET Anymore

The only other NLU that used to conduct its own entrance exam (HPNLET), Himachal Pradesh National Law University, other than the National Law University, Delhi, has joined hands with the CLAT Consortium and HPNLET exam has been dissolved.

🚨NTA Expressed willingness to conduct CLAT 2019

Recently none other than the National Testing Agency (NTA) has submitted an affidavit expressing its willingness and expertise to conduct the CLAT exam. So far, no official notice has been released and NLUO is still the conducting body for CLAT 2019.

Offline Conduct of CLAT Exam: The decision to conduct CLAT 2019 exam in offline mode has been taken considering the unforgettable blunders faced by the students because of the misconduct of CLAT exams in the online mode.

CLAT 2019 application form has been released on the official website only. Candidates have to fill the application form through online, no other medium will be allowed. In order to apply for the CLAT application form candidate have to make a new registration. Further, the candidate has to provide his/her Name, E-mail ID, and Mobile Number (a valid one). CLAT 2019 Admit Card

The admit card will be available to the students on the official website. Students will have to enter their Registration Number and their password to log in and download the admit card. The students have to enter the same registration number and the password as they will get at the time of New registration. Students have to download the Admit card themselves through the official website as studnets will not get the admit card via post.

Admit card is essential to carry on the examination day along with valid id proof. The faculties will not allow the students without the admit card to appear for the CLAT 2019 exam. Do not spoil or turn the admit card. Read the instruction given in the admit card.

CLAT 2019 Answer Key

The National University of Law will release the provisional answer key on the official website. Candidates have to log-in to challenge the provisional key. To challenge the provisional answer key, students need to have a proof justifying their claims. After the students submit their challenge, the authorities will verify and the necessary changes will be done. After the corrections, the authorities will release the final answer key.

The candidates can use the answer key to verify their answer an find the rough score. Candidates can check their answers to the questions in the CLAT 2019 Question Paper with the official answer key. Award and deduct the marks as per the marking scheme and you can find the total score.

CLAT 2019 Result

Candidates can check their CLAT 2019 result from the official website by providing the Registration number and password. The CLAT 2019 result will contain the score obtained by the candidates. On the basis score obtained by the candidate, merit list will be available. If two or more candidate will secure equal marks then the tie-breaking method will be used.

Tie Breaking Method for CLAT 2019 UG:

  • The higher rank will be provided to the candidate with high marks in a component/section of legal aptitude.
  • If the tie persists, the candidate higher in age will be given preference.
  • If there is still a tie, then computerized draw of lots will be used.

CLAT 2019 Counselling

After the released, the qualified candidates will be issued the call letters to appear for the CLAT 2019 counselling. The CLAT counselling procedure is an online process. On the counselling day, students will have to provide the relevant documents (check image below) and pay the counselling fee as mentioned below. After payng the half amount on the counselling day, the rest of the amount has to be submitted by personally reporting at the allotted NLU.
