AP PGLCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling the Application form for AP PGLCET, students must make sure that they match the eligibility criteria as laid down by APSCHE.
- Students who want to appear for the AP PGLCET must be a graduate in BL or LLM
- The eligible students must have scored at least 50% Marks in the LLB Exam
- Students belonging to the SC/ST category have a relaxation of up to 5% in the total marks.
- Those students who have directly studied class 10th without completing 1-9 education are not eligible for the exam.

Jurisprudence: Students will be asked questions from the school of Jurisprudence and the rights and duties in this section. Questions from the Custom Precedent and Legislation, Sources of Law have a higher chance of coming in the AP PGLCET 2019 exam. Also, the rights and duties questions such as the Legal Sanctions, Ownership and Possession, Obligation, Liability, Person’s, Property, etc must also be prepared.
Constitutional Law – The important topics for this section are –

AP PGLCET – Part B
Public International law – The relationship between the Nation, State and the International Organizations are maintained through with the help of this law. Important topics include – United Nations, Subjects, State Territory and others.
Mercantile Law: Mercantile laws are a set of rules and regulations that are made for maintaining smooth flow in the business. Students can prepare for the same with General Principles of Contract (Sections. 1-75, Indian Contract Act-1872).
Labour Law: This law deals with the protection of the rights given to the workers in the country. The students must prepare Trade Union Act 1926. Industrial Disputes Act 1947 well for the AP PGLCET 2019 exam.
Crimes and Torts: Law of torts are helpful in a situation where somebody has done something wrong and is liable to the one he did wrong to. Indian penal code (General Principles & General Exceptions.) also has to be studied for this section.
