The AMU Law 2018 Entrance Exam for BS LLB Admission is held for admission in Bachelor Degree programme for B.A. LLB, 5 years course. The candidates will be required to clear the entrance test to take admission. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organises this entrance test each year to take intake into a various available seat in the bachelor degree programme of B.A. LLB. AMU Law 2018 Entrance Exam

AMU Law 2018 Eligibility Criteria

To take admission in the B.A. LLB programme at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), the candidates must possess the following eligibility criteria.

Age:

Not more than 22 years as on July 01 in the year of admission.

Qualifying Examination:

  • Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks. Or
  • Bridge Course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with 50% marks in aggregate.

AMU Law 2018 Application Form

The Application Form is to be filled in online mode only, i.e. the candidates have to fill the Application Form directly on the website, as well as submit it online. There is no need to submit it via post or any other means.

AMU Law 2018 Admit Card

The date of the AMU Law 2018 Admit Card is yet not announced. The tentative date will at least one week before the examination that is in the first week of May 2018. The admit card for the B.A. LLB programme will be made available in the online mode only. The candidates will have to provide the login credentials to access their Admi Cards.

AMU BA LLB 2018 admit card will mention the candidate’s name and roll number, exam date and timing, test centre details as well as candidate’s photograph and signature. It is advised that the candidate must check the information mentioned on the admit card of AMU law entrance exam 2018 before downloading it. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate must contact the controller of examination, Aligarh Muslim University.

There shall be one paper of 100 marks consisting of 75 objective type questions (75% weightage) and 10 short answer type questions (25% weightage) on:

AMU Law 2018 Answer Key

After the examination, the conducting body will also release the answer key on the official website for AMU Law 2018 Entrance Exam. The answer key will help the candidates get an estimate of their scores in the entrance examination and hence get an idea of the status of their admission.

First of all, a provisional answer key will be uploaded. Candidates will be able to challenge the provisional answer key if required. If any discrepancy is reported the body will upload a final answer key before the announcement of the result with the final corrections.

AMU Law 2018 Result

AMU will declare the AMU Law 2018 Entrance Exam result tentatively in the month of July 2018. Candidates will be able to download their result and know their scores. On the declaration of the result, the merit list will be also published online carrying the names of the candidates who have scored above or equal to the cutoff marks. as per the merit list, candidates will be called for counselling rounds for admissions. The result will be uploaded in a pdf format and can be downloaded by accessing the “Result” link given above on this page.

AMU Law 2018 Counselling

Candidates who will appear in the counselling process after the declaration of the merit list of  AMU Law 2018 entrance exam will have to appear in person at the reporting centres with the following documents. The admission will be considered complete only after all the formalities are fulfilled at the institute they are enrolling in:

  1. Marksheet of the qualifying examination (with 4 self-attested photocopies).
  2. Transfer/Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended.
  3. High School Certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth.
  4. Five recent front-facing colour photographs (in white background).
  5. Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in Application Form

After the verification of all the above documents and payment of the fees, the admission will be confirmed.
