Documents to be Carried on the Exam Day

Before the students leave for the exam, they must ensure to have carried the below documents. In absence of any of these documents, students will not get an entry in the exam hall.

AIBE 2019 Admit Card – The most important document to be carried on the exam day.

Identity Proof – The students must also carry one identification proof such as the following or any government paper for authentication purposes.

Advocate Enrollment Certificate – The candidates should also bring their certificate of enrollment on the AIBE 2019 Exam Day.

AIBE 2019 Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam – AIBE 2019 will be conducted in Offline (Pen and Paper) mode. Students will have to appear at the selected exam centres on the AIBE 2019 exam date.

Number of Sections – 02 (Category I and category II)

Number of questions in Category II – 77

🚨NOTE – 7 questions come from every subject of category I (Part 1 of the question paper). There are 11 subjects in Category 1 and thus 7X11 = 77 Questℹions.

Number of Questions in Category II – 23

Type of Questions – AIBE 2019 will be a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based exam.

Type of Exam – Open Book Examination.

Total Marks – The maximum marks of AIBE 2019 are 100. Candidates need to score more than or equal to the passing marks to qualify the examination.

Passing Marks – Candidates have to fetch at least 40% marks in the AIBE 2019 exam to qualify.

Marks to be Scored n Category 1 and Category 2 – Candidates need to score at least 31 marks in Category 1 and 9 marks in Category 2.

Total Time Available – Students will be given 3 hrs and 30 Mins to complete the examination. Students will not be given extra time once the time is up.

About AIBE 2019

The All India Bar Examination or AIBE 2019 will be conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) for the law graduates who want to practice law in India. Students who will qualify in the AIBE exam get a “Certificate of Practice”. AIBE 2019 will be an open book examination. AIBE 2019 is going to be conducted at 46 AIBE exam centers. Candidates who have completed their graduation in law after 2009-2010 onwards and have enrolled themselves with the state bar council have to necessarily appear for the AIBE exam.
